At Kimberley Childcare, we aim for children to achieve socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually in a fun-loving and positive environment. We create a place where everyone feels welcome and we acknowledge the individual cultures within the centre, highlighting the bi-culturalism of Aoteroa New Zealand.

We recognise Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum, as the fundamental basis of our practice. We place children at the heart of every decision, and we strongly believe in nurturing children's curiosity, creativity, imagination, and inquiry learning.

We understand the value of respect (manaakitanga) as we foster positive relationships with children, whanau, and fellow staff-members and connect with and care for our environment.

Our educators work hard to ensure that children grow to become confident and competent learners who embark on their learning journey with a tool kit of values, skills, and the belief that they are capable and unique.
